Alterations are generally necessary even when you pay considerably more for a wedding dress from a high street bridal store.

The majority of the leading bridal houses have their ranges made in the same Far East factories as is the case with most leading fashion brands. Plus don't be put off by the fact that these dresses are made to order and are therefore non refundable unless of course their are obvious manufacturers defects. If you buy a similar quality dress from a bridal store they have samples in store for you to try but your actual dress would be ordered from the supplier on a made to order basis.
