There are just so many Cyprus hotels......

choosing the right Cyprus Hotels for you and getting their best price can be sooo.... confusing.

The range of accommodation available is just so vast it would be impossible for me to cover everything here. So I'll try to shed some light and make some suggestions regarding the various types of hotel Cyprus has to offer.

Holiday brochures and booking sites are full of accommodation choices & discounted Cyprus hotels but often the property description they provide is so minimal it's difficult to make the right choice that fits your criteria.

After all lets face it, holidays aren't cheap and due to our busy, stressful lifestyles that two week break away in the sun is precious. So what a let down when you find your 'beach Hotel' Cyprus turns out to be surrounded by clubs, bars and restaurants in a busy part of the tourist area, with a good 10 minute walk, crossing a busy road to the nearest beach. Which once there you find is little more than a strip of grey sand between said road and the sea where commercial shipping plies it's way to and from the main port. Sound familiar??

I've found the only way to avoid this sort of thing is to do some good old fashioned leg work before hand.

First step is to choose the resort.

Cyprus has various tourists resorts offering different experiences and holiday styles. If you're looking for a bit of everything you'll probably be better in one of the larger resorts such as LIMASSOL or PAPHOS. Where you'll find a a broad selection of restaurants, nightlife, shopping, sightseeing opportunities, beaches and daytime activities.

LIMASSOL has some great hotels including budget conscious options, mid-range feature packed accommodation and some of the best top end luxury beach hotels on the island.

If you just want a place to lay your head you'll find a host of budget accommodation options, those looking for quality and more facilities have the choice of various beach front Cyprus hotels and of course if you still want to stay at the best choose one of the luxury beach resorts Ayia Napa has to offer.

The slower pace and quieter lifestyle found at LATCHI AND POLIS will appeal to those in search of the 'real Cyprus'. The sleepy mediterranean fishing community of Latchi... and Polis with its traditional square, coffee shops and meze houses offers simpler accommodation on the whole but sheer unadulterated luxury can be found at the ANASSA
